Preparing for Downhill Skiing Workshop

Are you just waiting for snow to arrive so you can get on the slopes? But, do you also notice it is harder and harder to get into the swing of skiing? Join Ruth Merle-Doyle, Cornell Wellness staff and exercise physiologist, for a workshop to teach you strength techniques to make your initial downhill ski outings successful and less painful! You will be taught exercises that you can integrate into your workouts. This will be a small group session with lots of time to practice movements and/or modifications to meet your needs. Be dressed to exercise, and you must have an active Wellness Recreation Membership to register for this workshop. Limited to 12 people. Questions? Contact Ruth at
