Core & More

Strengthen and condition your core muscles...and more! This class will work your core, which includes the abdominal and low back muscles. Additional exercises incorporate upper and lower body as a way to strengthen your core, giving you a full body workout! 

Masks must be worn at all times. Participants are highly encouraged to supply their own mat, however mats are available for use. Please note that you will be asked to clean any mats or equipment you borrow at the conclusion of class. Gloves are available for member use. One may wish to bring a personal workout towel for a barrier between the face and mat. Capacity depends on the location: Helen Newman Dance Studio: 26, Appel Multipurpose room: 20, Noyes Multipurpose Room: 26.

Late entry will be permitted within 20 minutes of the class start time.

Both Virtual Classes are free for Fall 2021.

The following classes are canceled for the remainder of the semester:

  • Monday 7:15am Barre Express at HNH DS.
  • Wednesday 8:30am Pilates at Noyes.
  • Wednesday 12:15pm Fit Trifecta at Appel (moving to Fridays 12:15pm in Helen Newman Hall Dance Studio!)
  • Thursday 11:00am Yoga - Hatha Flow at Teagle.
  • Thursday 12:15pm Zumba® Toning at Ramin Room.

In-Person and Virtual Private Group Fitness Classes will be available upon request in Spring 2022.  All requests for private classes must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event date.
