Spin® & Yoga

This class combines Spinning® and yoga for a mindful fitness experience.  The class will include work on breath, alignment, and mindfulness in both the Spinning® and yoga portions of the class.  After 30-35 minutes of Spinning®, the yoga portion will focus on full body stretching, as well as areas that need more attention after cycling such as hamstrings, hips and the spine.  

Participants are highly encouraged to bring a personal towel and to supply their own mat, however towels and mats are available for use. Participants will be asked to clean their bikes and any mats or equipment you borrow at the conclusion of class. Gloves are available for member use. Late entry to Spinning® classes is not permitted. Capacity depends on the location: Helen Newman Dance Studio: 30, Noyes Multipurpose Room: 30.

Group Fitness Announcements

Starting the week of September 26: two NEW Power H.I.I.T. Express classes at Appel Commons - Fitness Center, Wednesdays & Fridays from 12:25-1:10 PM.

Starting the week of September 26: Fit Trifecta classes on Wednesdays & Fridays from 12:15-1:00 PM are canceled for the rest of the semester.

Starting September 23, Spinning® Express at Noyes changes from 12:15-1:00 PM to 8:30-9:15 AM.

Starting September 22, Yoga-Prenatal at Teagle changes to Virtual Yoga-Prenatal, no membership required.

In-Person and Virtual Private Group Fitness Class requests are now being accepted for Summer 2022.  All requests for private classes must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event date.  Please contact: Lms436@cornell.edu to begin the request process.
