Identifying & Working With Barriers To Physical Activity

Do you find yourself wanting to exercise more, but despite your best intentions the day goes by without fitting it in? You are not alone! We all experience barriers to physical activity. These barriers can range from personal to environmental to societal. In this one-hour workshop, we will identify barriers we experience and explore strategies for working with them so that we can get our bodies moving more. We will pay particular attention to the ways we might place blame on ourselves for not being more physically active, and we will work to reframe physical activity as an ongoing, variable process in our lives. We will look at what is going on for us right now and strategize the best ways to address those concerns.
