Walk To Run Class

Back by Popular Demand, with added conditioning sessions!

We are pleased to once again offer the Walk to Run class. Walk to Run is designed to be an inclusive fitness training class for anyone looking to either transition from walking to running, or to add a new activity that will boost your cardiovascular fitness. Anyone, especially people who have never been keen on running, are welcome. (There is no need to have a Wellness Recreation Membership to participate in this class). This class will meet on Tuesdays and Fridays from noon-12:50 PM. Typically we will meet outside of Kane Track (near the Friedman Wrestling Center), but as our class progresses, we will be running on various routes and trails around central campus.

Class instructor is Ruth Merle-Doyle, Cornell Wellness staff and exercise physiologist. Contact Ruth if you'd like more details. Class limit is 20.
