Are you still hiring?
CFC generally hires more heavily toward the beginning and end of each semester. Your best bet is to apply before the beginning of the semester during which you want to work. However, CFC is always accepting applications. We often have some shifts to fill mid-semester. But if not, your application will definitely be considered at the end of the semester during our primary hiring phase.

How can I apply to be a fitness monitor?
Review the job description. If you are interested and think you fit the description, download an application (PDF) or stop by 319 HNH for an application.

Do I already need to be CPR certified or do you provide the classes?
You must have CPR and Standard First Aid certifications to work for CFC. However, your application may still be considered before you have the certifications. By submitting an application to work here, you are committing to follow through and get the certifications before your start date. CFC usually offers some full classes at the beginning or end of semesters, but cannot guarrantee to meet everyone's needs. You must be prepared to get yourself certified by going to local American Red Cross classes if necessary.

CFC recognizes American Red Cross certifications. American Heart CPR certifications are only recognized for one year.

Applicants who are already certified will be given some preference.
