  • National Walk/Run @ (To) Work/School Day – Healthy Living Program Event
    Friday, September 15, Meet at 8:50 AM; Begin Walking at 9 AM, Meet at the front entrance to Helen Newman Hall. (rain location: HNH gymnasium)
    Walk and talk as a group for two loops (2 miles) around Beebe lake to participate in this National event hosted at Cornell by Cornell Wellness and Cornell Transportation. The morning walk around Beebe is a special offering just for Healthy Living Program participants. All of the Cornell community are welcome to participate in this National event by walking or running two miles throughout the day. Full event details for this National event are below. If you are unable to attend the Beebe Lake walk offered through the Healthy Living Program, you are still welcome to participate in the event by logging 2 miles throughout the day. Participate In Just 3 Easy Steps:
Step 1: Walk or Run for 2 continuous miles at some point on September 15
Step 2: Visit the event page to complete the Prize Drawing entry form (located on "1,2 & 3 For Prizes" tab) by midnight, September 15. Prizes: TBA

    Visitors to our laboratory enjoy being immersed in the culture of science in the context of a world-class research facility. Xraise tours invites the public into a behind-the-scenes look at scientists while experiments are underway—literally witnessing science history in the making.
    This one hour tour of Wilson Laboratory will be Tuesday, September 26.  Tours are free and are led by Xraise educational tours. Metered and Park mobile parking is available at Friedman Wrestling Center which is located near Wilson Laboratory, meet in the entrance to the laboratory. Limited to 15 people. Questions?   • Apple Orchards Tour

    You come for the apples, cider, fresh produce and other goods. But did you know that Cornell Orchards is first and foremost a research and teaching site? It serves the Horticulture Section and other units in Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences as well as local area schools. It’s where learning grows by research, teaching and outreach. Tour led by Eric Schatt Adult education lead for Cornell Orchards. Meet outside the orchard store, limited parking is available, additional park mobile parking across the street at the vet school.
